Is your suburb really as safe as you think it is? Is that neighboring town safer than the city you call home?
In an effort to understand which cities across Minnesota are the safest, Niche.com used a variety of data to give cities a grade for their crime safety. They analyzed FBI crime rates, CDC health statistics and relied on resident feedback through surveys to develop a grade for some of the larger suburbs around the Twin Cities.
Only one suburb, Deephaven, earned the elusive A grade, the top mark for crime and safety. A majority of suburbs earned a B or a B+ rating for crime, which indicates an average to above-average safety rating.
