Appelman Law Firm volunteered their time and expertise at The David Lewis Memorial Our Hearts To Your Soles 2025 event over the weekend.
The annual charity event provides free foot exams, footwear, flu vaccines and legal advice to homeless and financially burdened individuals throughout the Twin Cities. This was the 19th year that the event has been conducted in the Twin Cities, and it’s an event that Avery and the team look forward to every year.
Avery Appelman was on hand to provide free legal advice and insights to event attendees. He’s volunteered at the event for many years, and he says that it’s always rewarding to connect with community members who may not always have access to a lawyer for legal advice.
“Our Hearts To Your Soles is such a wonderful event and I’m thankful that I get to be a part of it,” said Appelman. “The attendees are always so grateful, and it’s always rewarding to give back to people in our community who are oftentimes overlooked or unfairly treated by the criminal justice system.”
