2019 was another banner year for Appelman Law Firm, and while we’re excited to see where things will go in 2020, we wanted to take a moment to look back on the year that was. Below, we take a look back on some of our favorite moments from 2019, and we take a look ahead to next year.
Helping Clients
We love that our job allows us to fight for the rights of many people who feel like their voice would otherwise go unheard in the criminal justice system, and we were able to help a lot of people in 2019. We helped countless clients contest their criminal charges, and many clients saw their charges reduced or dropped altogether after we were able to fight on their behalf. This year was one of our most successful years in terms of courtroom success, and we are happy so many people choose us to fight for their rights.
Another thing we loved in 2019 was the annual Our Hearts To Your Soles event. It’s an event that we look forward to every year, and it provides us with an opportunity to connect with some individuals who may not otherwise have access to a lawyer. More than 40 lawyers volunteered at the event, and we met many wonderful people over the course of the night. This is an event we look forward to every year, and we know that we’ll be back at the event in 2020.
We also love spreading legal information and helping people get a better handle on their criminal case even if they don’t end up hiring us to represent them, and oftentimes we do this by sharing informative articles on our blog. Swing over to our blog if you’ve got some time and want to brush up on a wealth of legal topics, but we went ahead and put together some links from our favorite blog posts of 2019. And one final thing that we want to shout out about our 2019 was the support we received from our readers and our clients. Earlier this month we received our 100th 5-star review on Google, and we’re so happy that so many of you were willing to take the time to put in a good word about the assistance we were able to provide. You also came out in droves when we asked for votes when we were nominated in the best legal blog contest. We were able to finish in second place in the criminal law category during the most recent contest, our highest finish ever. Thanks for your support!
We hope you had a wonderful 2019, and we wish you all the best in the new year.
