Happy New Year’s Eve! This is always one of our busiest night’s of the year, but every year we are prepared for it because we want to help anyone who gives us a call tonight. So if you need legal assistance during your New Year’s celebrations, don’t hesitate to give us a call at (952) 224-2277.
New Year’s Eve and the early morning hours of New Year’s Day are always some of the busiest times for our firm for a number of reasons. For starters, a number of people welcome in the new year with celebratory spirits, but not everyone makes the wise decision to get a sober ride home once the ball drops at midnight. Also, since it’s widely known that a lot of people celebrate the new year with alcohol and revelry, police counter this by staffing extra traffic enforcement, so you’ll probably notice more cops on the roads tonight. In fact, Minnesota police already announced that they will have extra enforcement on the road looking for the four fatal driving maneuvers, which are:
- Drunk Driving
- Distracted Driving
- Speeding
- No Seat Belt
We can’t stress how important it is that you make safe decisions behind the wheel tonight. Aside from being a danger to yourself and others, you have a much higher likelihood of being arrested on a night like tonight compared to a normal night. We always make sure we have plenty of staff on hand to make sure you are connected with a lawyer no matter what time you call tonight, so if you need to talk to a lawyer tonight, know you’ll find one if you call (952) 224-2277.
Make A Smart Decision
Obviously we hope that we get no calls tonight, because it means that people are making smart decisions, but we don’t expect that to be the case. There are plenty of buses, taxis, Ubers and Lyfts throughout the Twin Cities, so it should be easy enough to get home safely. However, if you or a friend end up making a mistake and you need legal help, give us a call.
We’ve helped to secure release from jail for our clients on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in the past, and we can do the same for you. We know you have family and work obligations that can’t be on hold, so we’ll do everything we can to get you released before going to work on your case. For more information, or to set up a free case evaluation, give us a call and ask for Avery Appelman at (952) 224-2277.
Happy New Year!
