If you’ve been following our blog for the last month or so, you’ve probably heard us talking about The Expert Institute’s “Best Legal Blog” contest. The nomination process began earlier this year, and more than 2,000 of the nation’s best legal blogs hoped to make it through the rigorous selection process. The top 250 legal blogs made the cut, and they were separated into eight different legal categories.
Appelman Law Firm was slotted into the Criminal category, but we were also competing with some of the nation’s best Education, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Employment Law blogs. Once the nominees were placed in their respective categories, the voting process opened up. Readers and fans were allowed to vote for their favorite blog from August 27th to October 9th, and the results recently became official.
And The Winner Is….
Thanks to a strong showing from our readers, Appelman Law Firm finished in 3rd place in the Criminal Law category, earning us the sweet badge you see on the right. Not only did Appelman Law Firm finish third nationally in the Criminal Law category, we also finished as the top ranked criminal law blog in Minnesota!
So once again, thank you to everyone who reads our blog and who voted for us in the contest. Our blog is a reflection of our readers. Our goal is to provide an outlet for anyone looking for legal answers, and we promise we’ll continue to work hard for our readers. You guys are awesome!
