He joined the team after clerking for the Honorable Philip Bush in Minneapolis, who presided exclusively over serious felony cases. Prior to this priceless experience of seeing things from behind the bench, Geoff worked tirelessly for the less fortunate at the Hennepin County Public Defender’s Office in Minneapolis for three years.
After growing up in the blue-collar nirvana of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he fulfilled his childhood fantasy of attending the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor; where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and also in Sports Management in 2000. After spending a few good years tending bar, Geoff made his way to Minnesota where he attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Now he lives in Edina with his beautiful wife Laura, a trauma nurse, where they are expecting their first child. And although he’s no-good, he enjoys an occasional round of golf and has finished the Chicago Marathon twice. Geoff is passionate about only a few things: the University of Michigan, the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and making life difficult for people who prosecute his clients.
